If it comes on and times-out after 10secs or so, chances are it's not the problem. The IDM easily generates codes because the PCM, and even the IDM itself, keep a pretty "close eye" on it's operation.Most people ive talked to about this code say its the injector its self. But when i tore into the truck to change the injector and the valve cover and harness i found that the inside plug had came loose on one side causeing injector #2 to stop working. I put my new valve cover harness on it because i was already there and its running like a champ.P1294 code.
