Since the op put a new sensor in and the code persists, it is either wiring or the motor. A mechanical gauge will rule out the motor.I think GM says you need a minimum of approx 8-10 psi per each 1,000 rpm. If you're idling at 550 rpm and have 18-20 psi, you're well within specs though it would make me nervous, too. My '13 idles at about 30, but only has 16,000 miles on it.
