When I bought my old style 995 it had a red dot scope on it, but the lens was chipped and it distorted the scope, so I put the iron sights back on. Actually I prefer the iron sights.After you take the mag apart and file or sand all the rough edges on the lips and follower, lubricate it and put it back together with the spring in the right place, then you work on the front lips.
