The 7mm PRC uses the same bolt face as a 7mm Remington Magnum, 300 Win Mag, or a 300PRC or 6.5 PRC. If your rifle is already chambered to use that magnum bolt face, you're set. To me the only things I dont like are the belt and short neck. The 7LRM solves that. 7LRM- no belt, long neck, 180s at 3100ish, factory brass and dies, feeds in a long action with the bullets seated long. At a 3.07-inch overall length, the 7x57 won't fit into a short action, so at least with bolt guns you're stuck with a long, .30-06 length action even though the 7x57 doesn't need all that room.
