I tried a hard reset by disconnecting power and waiting 30s and plugging back in. when it went through the 'powering up' and 'connecting to x1 platform' steps it first said something went wrong and to try it again. so I did. on the 2nd attempt it got through those but to the red 'something is not quite right' screen and gave the RDK code above ...
