Jan 7, 2022. The Blessing 2 Dusk takes over all IEM for my life. Pros: Tuning, tonality, bass, vocals, separation, treble, mids, and intimacy with soundstage. Cons: Small ears need not apply. I have gone through a lot of different IEMs. So when I say this is absolutely the best I've ever had for me, I truly mean it.Their first breakthrough with the neutral-bright signature was in fact: Blessing 2. Though, you can make a case for S8 (which caused a bit of buzz but soon overshadowed by B2) as a neutral IEMs. After B2, Moondrop continued with the neutral-bright signature in various price points like you mentioned. plmon24.I'd go for the B2:Dusk, it's the best IEM objectively. Timeless is a solid allrounder if you want to save $$$, tho keep in mind that it's a bit sharp. OH10 is a solid choice if you prefer bass though generally outclassed by the Timeless and B2:Dusk. If you have specific songs you like, you're the only one that can tell which one sound best. The general resolution is top-notch. The 7hz Timeless has a fun and energetic tuning. The Moondrop Blessing 2 is the IEM that has impressed me the most. The midrange on the Blessing 2 is truly spectacular. The mids are even, and linear with very natural tonality to them. I personally find the treble region warm.Moondrop Blessing 3 has less bass than Blessing 2 Dusk Discussion There's also a bit of a boost from 2.5 - 6K which might even emphasise the drop in bass. Based solely on the graph I guess my wallet is going to be safe ...1) Because while I dont find them uncomfortable, they are large and go deep so they dont disappear on my ears 2) They sound good but often times I find my airpods pro sound good enough for my music/podcasts 3) They are really good for me only for special use cases and I cant justify having a $300+ iem laying around for special use cases lol.TL;DR: it's more similar to the Dusk than the OG Blessing 2. it's very similar to the Dusk, with a similar bass shelf but perceptually, he finds the bass slightly less emphasized. it does do some things better, like the treble extension, but it's not a huge improvement, it's not at the level of S8. it's a very good IEM.I'd go for the B2:Dusk, it's the best IEM objectively. Timeless is a solid allrounder if you want to save $$$, tho keep in mind that it's a bit sharp. OH10 is a solid choice if you prefer bass though generally outclassed by the Timeless and B2:Dusk. If you have specific songs you like, you're the only one that can tell which one sound best.Another option might be the Dan Clark Audio Aeon 2 Closed. Both of them are closed back. If you want an open back with bass, the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 and Dan Clark Aeon 2 Open are good picks, although the latter is quite bass heavy. On the low end, you have the DT 770/990 but they can be quite sibilant, the K371/361 but the headband on those ...Tea sounds more intimate and grand (better for vocals/rock/indie/old school hip-hop and r&b). Dusk is more laid back with more body in sub-bass (better for modern r&b and hip-hop/pop). Acoustic is just as good on both. Albums used (not every song): Jason Mraz - We Dance. We Sing. We Steal Things (Great on both)As the title suggests, you can turn your Blessing 2 into a Dusk via simple EQ. To my ears, they sound identical and I would not pass a blind test ...Heard many good things to be said about the Blessing 2 and the Oxygen, but haven't seen a direct comparison made between the two in terms of their technical performance and tonality. ... Very safe choice, they play any genre very well. But Fiio FH7 can sound more interesting. I think they have a better sound stage, they provide better immersion. While not perfect, it’s one of the closest to perfect I’ve ever heard, at any price. And, the fact that it’s able to do this at a much more modest price means that to me the Blessing 2 is the new benchmark for frequency response at $320. B2 and S8 FR is fairly similar other than the S8 having more and having more upper mid presence. I'd say the B2 has a more pleasing signature due to less uppermid ...The Blessing 2 Dusk adjusted the tuning of the Blessing 2 to be much closer to my preferences (and seemingly a lot of other listeners judging from the number of reviews between the two versions). Same, don't really see a point in upgrading when you factor in diminishing returns. My own endgame is the Dunu EST 112.
